About Sally

I hold certification in Latin 7-12, with a FLES extension for 1-6. I am currently pursuing a certification in Students with Disabilities, K-12, expected to be completed in October 2015. I am a graduate from Hunter College 2008 and 2010 for my bachelors and masters degrees respectively. I have been teaching Latin for the past six years in both private and public school. The majority of my experience has been in public school for the last five years. I have had the opportunity to teach grades 7-12 during this time period, as well as from level 1A to College Latin. Last year I was able to help a colleague out and take on an extra level two class while she was out on leave. This experience sparked my desire to teach upper level classes again. The variety that is available at the upper level is wonderful for the students and teacher. While at private school I was able to teach a college course affiliated with St. Johns and it was a wonderful experience. I have also had the the opportunity to become part of the CAWNY committee that creates the Checkpoint A Exam. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to teach all levels.
