About Salamarie

From a very young age, caring for my elders was part of my responsibility. My grandmother, who died two years ago, she was not only blind but also suffered from Alzheimer. She needed around the clock assistance and supervision. Taking care of my grandmother is how I learned to be patient and understanding and at times very thankful for the lessons she taught and the amazing historic stories that she often shared. This is the reason why I am passionate about caring for my elders. It seems only right that after many years of hard work and paving the way for my generation, that I find a way to give back and give thanks. Especially since I no longer have my grandmother, I can still find a way to ensure that someone just like her has someone like myself to take of them and serve as a companion.
