About Sabine

Hello my name is Sabine, I am from Germany and speak fluently German, English and Swedish. I learned Swedish during the 8 years I lived in Sweden where I attended 2 years of bible college and met my Swedish/American husband, with whom I moved here to the States about five year ago. I am a stay at home mom with a 16-month-old girl and a almost 4-year-old boy. My work experience: I worked for six years as a personal assistant/aide for a woman who is wheelchair-bound with MS and provided physical and mental support in day to day activities. When I lived in Germany I always helped my mother in her children daycare business and also babysat for those parents. In Sweden I occasionally substituted as a para-educator in a special needs school where my husband worked. It is important to me to encourage children to be creative and widen their imagination through coloring, crafting and playing instead of spending too much time with TV or other technologies.
