About Ruth

I have served as a personal caregiver and tutor for a student with mental and physical (and medical) disadvantages from first through fourth grade. I enjoyed the student and classmates so much that I would have continued serving in that capacity for the students entire school career, but we moved out of state. I have taken specialized courses for working with children with various types of learning disabilities. I served as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for over 10 years before I started working as a special needs paraprofessional. I have a great deal of patience and compassion. I have my own children and family members who have specialty needs, and I would be honored to help your student achieve their goals.
