About Rowena

I worked with children with special needs in an international school in Manila, the Philippines as an occupational therapist for more than 10 years. I modified lessons to match the children's learning styles to make learning fun and help them grow academically. I also use a multi-sensory approach to teaching and behavioral theories to facilitate adaptive behaviors. As an occupational therapist, I am also experienced in teaching life skills. In addition, I am an aunt to a high-functioning young man with autism, who I assisted in social and work skills.
