About Rolando

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, talkative, and very positive! I like working with animals because I enjoy seeing animals in a happy state and having them trust me. I know not all animals are the same, but as long as I can keep them calm and happy then I'm perfectly content and I know they're able to relax. I started working with animals in high school when I was a paraprofessional, as some of the teachers would bring their dogs to our migrant summer school programs. When a teacher needed to step out or run a quick errand, I would stay and keep the dog entertained or calm. And all the dogs seemed to trust and me as they'd let me lay down with me and pet them. In my spare time, I like to play soccer, (whether it be indoor or outdoor) going out for runs when the weather is nice, or simply just watching tv when I'm feeling tired. My skills include -Patience with one's pet -Having the energy to keep up with your pet -Communicating with your pet whether in English or Spanish
