This is the background check we require for all caregivers.
Experience: 10 yrs
My experience with caring for the elderly began several years ago caring for my grandmother. Since that time I have worked in an assisted living home here in Concord. During that period I mainly worked caring for residents with Alzheimer's. I assisted them with bathing, some required help eating as well, and most were incontinent. The last 10 years I have provided care for the elder generation in the warmth of their own home. Most of these people have needed help with bathing, administering their medicine and meal preparation. Lite house keeping, grocery shopping and transportation to doctors appointments is also provided. I have worked with the diabetic and physically disabled. I am CPR and First Aide certified. I am available between hours of 6 a.m. -6 p.m. I also will provide third shift hours Also I will add this past year I have become allergic to dogs and prefer to not have employment with inside dogs I'm sorry I love them but just can not

Despite the difficult position Robin put us in and the emotional toll it took on our family, I am going to keep this review to the facts. We hired Robin for long-term care of our four month old son on January 2nd. Robin was punctual and worked hard to take care of our son for two weeks, but then called us completely out of the blue in the middle of the work week one night to say she would not be able to return to care for our son. She stated that it was due to allergies from our dog, despite us giving Robin notice that we had a dog well before she started. Robin never mentioned any problem before quitting, and refused the attempts we made at asking if there was anything we could do to help the situation. Robin left our family without care, without any notice, and without any plan for transition to a new nanny. We did everything that we could to make Robin comfortable and would have done anything to help improve the situation, but unfortunately Robin handled the situation very unprofessionally.
