About Robin

I have been caring for children since I started babysitting at age 16. I come from an extended family and have nurtured children beginning with my siblings ( I am the next to the oldest child.) and continuing with nieces, nephews, my own daughter, and now great-nieces and nephews. I especially like to read to/with them and this is one of the best ways to help them grow intellectually. I am CPR / First Aid certified and now taking online child care classes! I believe that self-confidence is extremely important and the best way to foster positive self-confidence is by commending their positive actions and thoughts. Boundaries are very important, as they assist children in exploring life knowing they are safe. A Christian, I am retired from my 1st career and am ready to embark on my second one - assisting families with their children or parents!

Robin cared for our youngest daughter for a year (6 mos-18 mos) and she was phenomenal. We were so sad to no longer have Robin come and care for her as we were placing our daughter in a Spanish immersion school. Communication was great and she was highly reliable. I cannot recommend her enough, she was such a blessing to our family!
