About Roberta

Hello! I'm Roberta. I'm a military wife and mother of two. I have experience in childcare as an in-home daycare business owner, Nanny, and more recently teaching in an early childhood development center. I'd describe my personality as patient, friendly, and reliable. I like working with kids because I believe the interactions children have in the early stages in life are the blueprint to their future success. They are always worth investing our time in because they are the future. At the moment I am looking for short term or part time as we are still transitioning from overseas life. I started working with kids when we moved to our first overseas base in Japan in 2016. In my spare time, I like to go hiking, volunteering, eating out. One thing you should know about me is I am a firm believer that behavior is communication. I like to know what's going on in a child's life so that I can better anticipate their needs. My skills include listening, patience, and decision making.
