My experience started in 1985, a live-in position in care of an Alzheimer's patient and continue for 12 years of care from beginning to end of the diseases, that provided me with a whole knowledge of the disease, as well as, complications that occurs as the disease progresses, accompanied with doctor's visits. I also learned that the quality of care involves nutrition, brain activities, outings, as entertainment, and exercise according to each individuals ability. From 1997 to 2006 I cared for different patients at their homes with all kinds of conditions such as, heart diseases, renal failure, strokes, cancer, HIV, Huntington disease and ailments by the aging process. From 2006 to 2018 (12 years) I have given 24 hour-care for a patient with Alzheimer's and Heart diseases in home. During all my years of experience of care for the elderly, I strongly believe each elderly person deserves quality of care, respect, and an understanding of their limitations with love and dedication.

Roberta cared for a very dear friend of mine for several months. Roberta made sure that my friend had three nutritional meals a day, and snacks if he wanted. His personal hygiene was tended to. Roberta assisted with medical appointments and always made sure that any needs was met. My friend was suffering from a terminal illness and sadly he died, but I know that those final months he was well taken care by Roberta.
