About Rita

I assisted my parents when they were in their late eighties with meal preparation, grocery shopping and accompanying them to their appointments. I have extensive knowledge of the health care system from my experience in working at Social Services and St. Peter's Hospital. I have worked in day care centers in East Greenbush and Albany. I did this before I had children and when my children were preschool age. I worked as a substitute teacher while raising my children. My first experience working with children was at the Children's Aid Society in New York. I started as a camp counselor for children of all ages and I worked four days a week at the after school program. When my youngest daughter was 2 years old, I worked as a nanny for two children. A 6-month-old baby and a preschool age child I enjoy reading and interacting with young and older children alike.
