About Riley

I have been babysitting family friends children ranging all ages since I was 16 years old. This is where my love for children grew and I went to school for psychology and family studies/human development with the goal of becoming a child/family therapist. During my undergrad, I was able to participate in an internship where I mentored children ranging all ages but I specifically worked with a 9-year-old girl for 2 years. I gained a lot of experience in that internship and continued my education pursuing my masters in social work last year. During my first year in this program, I got to participate in another internship at a middle school where I was learning the skills of a school social worker. During the last 2 years, I've also been a direct service provider where I've worked with children ranging from age 3-17 on social skills, independent living skills, and other behavioral/emotional regulation skills.
