About Renee

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, kind and caring. I like caring for seniors because they have experienced life and have much wisdom deserving of our respect. My sisters and I were raised by grandparents. Experiencing the skipping of a generation allowed us to appreciate and view our elders in a different light. I'm looking for a job that allows me to make a difference in someone's life. In the past I helped care for my grandmother. I have helped with my dear aunt with dementia and a friend who had early onset Alzheimer's. I enjoyed bringing elders to church who couldn't drive and take them to lunch or grocery shopping. I volunteered at an assisted living facility. In my spare time, I like to putter in the garden, walk, and spend time with family. I have been in your situation and understand how important it is to have confidence and trust in a caregiver. My skills include making sure the person feels valued and important.
