About Regina

I have 4 years of experience. I can help with English, Literature, Journalism, Social Studies, and History. Why tutoring? My tutees tell me that my collaborative approach helps them achieve their goals. Additionally, I enjoy sharing my skills and experience with students who are hungry to learn. My tutoring experience includes working for Collin College's Frisco, McKinney, and Spring Creek campuses where I worked with a variety of undergraduate students. I also have experience working with elementary, middle and high school students through my substitute teaching at the Dallas Independent School District. I am an award-winning multimedia editor/journalist and a freelance writer. Additionally, I am a doctoral student at the University of North Texas studying to become a historian. My specialty is African American history in Texas. I look forward to becoming a historian, scholar, and professor. I believe the tutoring experience should be effective and fun.
