About Rebekka

I have over 25 years of experience working with children and families. I believe in appropriate boundaries, safety first, affectionate care, creative play, manners and good food! I would prefer the little ones I care for are engaged, happy and exploring the world through quiet walks, reading, cooking, listening to classical music and a calm routine as opposed to numbing out on cell phones! I have aggressively pursued my education throughout my life and have traveled extensively. I received a certificate in story telling and have a non-profit organization dedicated to bring art to children, youth, teens, adults and seniors. I volunteer on a regular basis and taught catechism for the Catholic Church as a paid employee. I respect the role of parents while I also encourage and model those in my care to be appropriately affectionate. I know how to care for newborns and get them on a schedule! If the mother or father is at home, I am happy to help in whatever other ways possible!
