About Rebecca

I'm a theatre artist and educator and recently relocated to NYC. I'm seeking steady part time work as a caregiver and/or tutor to supplement my artistic endeavors. As a caregiver I've worked with ages 3 months to 14 years old, twin toddlers, nanny shares, a special needs 22-year-old, pre-teen sisters, cross culturally, and within a wide array of parenting styles. In education I've been a reading intervention specialist, after school homework tutor, driving instructor, early childhood developmental play instructor, teaching assistant in a special education and behavioral disorder classroom, and of course as a drama, dance, and music instructor for ages 4-25. I enjoy bringing creative activities into the caregiving relationship and learning environment, and I believe play is an important foundation to building trust and maintaining relational health.
