About Ramin

I am an experienced math teacher with many years of experience in teaching math at college level. I have a PhD in mathematics from Cornell University and have taught calculus at Cornell and elsewhere, as well as Algebra at a community college. I have also been a private tutor for several years. I am also a computer programmer, specializing in C/C++. I am a very patient teacher with deep math and computer knowledge. I can motivate students by showing them why the material they learn is important, and how it connects with other areas of science, and by extension, everyday life.
