About Rachel

I started working with kids when I volunteered to live in an orphanage for 4 months. The sole purpose of the trip was to give them love, connect with them, and teach English. After that I started nannying. I currently work as a day-care teacher/dance teacher to young kids. I visit preschools and teach dance, to help kids experience joy and build their self esteem. It has been very fulfilling work. In my spare time, I like to go for walks with my dogs, paint, exercise and hang out with my fiancé One thing you should know about me is that I think it's important to get outside. If it's alright with you, I'd love to go on walks with the kids or go to the lake. I want to try to pull kids away from all the technology. But of course I'd do whatever you felt was best for your children! My skills include creating fun activities that get kids away from technology, holding space for children as they work through their daily emotions with empathy and love, making kids laugh
