About Rachel

My name is Rachel, and I am 24 years old. I have been working with children in youth for the past 6 years in varying capacities. I have experience working in childrens & youth ministry, as a mental/behavioral health technician for children and youth, as an assistant preschool/daycare teacher, coordinating and providing care for nursery aged children at a local church, and most recently as a private nanny for an infant with a special medical condition. I'd describe my personality as candid, nurturing, and lively. My friends describe me as compassionate, authentic, and very funny. I like working with kids because they are also candid, curious, and full of life. They are unpredictable, and I love the adventure. I learn so much about myself and the world from interacting with children, and I am ultimately grateful for the opportunity and honor of contributing to the raising of a generation of kids who know that they are loved, valued and protected by the adults in their lives.
