About Rachel

Started my career in early childhood education in 1984. In 1985 I attended the American Nanny College, there I completed nanny coursework including subjects such as: RIE, Infant Development Instruction, Gifted/Special Needs Children, Household Management, Food Sanitation and Nutrition, among other subjects pertaining to child development. I also hold a certificate from West Valley Occupational Center in Woodland Hills, CA in Early Childhood Education. I worked in the field until having my own children. I spent most of the 90's and 00's raising my children while watching their friends and neighbor children often. I began working as a Nanny again when a family recommended me to temporarily care for two young children that was the begining of a new adventure in nanny work for me. My most recent position was with a family in Woodland Hills. I was with them for three years Prior to that I worked afternoons for a family in Simi Valley for a year.
