About Rachel

I'm from California and I've worked with children for 11 yrs. In my youth I worked as a camp counselor. I planned the curriculum, led activities, and supervised the children. In Dec 2014, I began working at a preschool. I worked with a variety of children aged 4 months to 9 yrs. I led circle time, taught letters and sounds, read stories, facilitated tummy time, introduced solids, and helped with snacks and lunch. I have 9 early childhood education units, which is a cert 3 here in Sydney, and I'm certified in CPR/first aid. In 2020 I worked as a nanny and In-home educator, facilitating and supervising Montessori/play-based activities, helping with homework and online learning during COVID-19, and even teaching English to a child of 2 who only spoke Chinese! I also worked for over a year as a nanny for a wonderful family whose daughter was 6 months at the time of my employment.
