About Rachel

Hi! I am a former teacher and I am transitioning into a career in music therapy. I was a pre-k instructional assistant and worked with about 15 kids on a daily basis, some with special needs. For the last two and a half years, I was an elementary school music teacher. Teaching every student in the school allowed me to gain experience in dealing with various personalities and needs. I also have experience nannying children including infants. My priority is for children to feel heard, safe, and cared for. I love to read books aloud, sing songs, and teach through play. I am also a huge animal lover so if you have furbabies, great!
