About Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachel, but my students call me Ms. J! I teach 7th grade Science for Warren Township, and I absolutely love my job! I love teaching and making an impact. I am BLS and CPR certified as a teacher, but I worked as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in college, so I'm always prepared in the case of an emergency! I was able to use my EMT license in order to work and gain experience as a caregiver in an Alzheimer's/Dementia Assisted Living Facility, as well as privately caring for an individual with dementia. I also have personal caregiving experience from my own grandmother with dementia. I love helping others and spreading positivity to those around me, and I would thrive in a position where I am not only providing aid for living, but also companionship.
