About Rachel

Hello there! I'm pleased to be available to potentially help your family with your care and tutoring needs. I am a veteran and experienced licensed teacher, basketball coach, and a mom to some wonderful children myself! I have experience with children of all ages and all backgrounds. I also have cared for disabled young people and elderly adults (my grandparents final years). I have references available, a reliable vehicle, and I have flexible availability, at times even at the last minute! Other qualifications: conversational Spanish, ability to tutor in all subjects (except advanced high school mathematics). In terms of education, I hold a Masters Degree in Education, but have also completed courses beyond my M. Ed. in history/social science and law. I have CPR/First Aid/Concussion training, as well as a coach card from AHSAA. All of my licenses, education, and other credentials can be verified upon request.
