About Rachel

I was blessed to care for my aging grandparents, both together and individually, for many years before they passed in 2021 and 2023. My grandfather was a fully disabled Air Force Veteran, who suffered from dementia. My grandmother passed in June of 2023 of cancer, diabetes, and other health issues. She was also severely hearing impaired for much of her golden years. Tasks I preformed for them, included: daily outings, helping them exercise according to their abilities, taking them to appointments, cooking/cleaning, personal care, medication management, grocery shopping, and activities at their church and senior center. I am CPR/First Aid/Concussion trained. I have a Masters degree in Education and worked as a teacher and basketball coach for many years. My availability is flexible and I look forward to this next opportunity to assist another family.
