I have my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis; I have a type 04 IL teaching certification. For over 15 years I have worked as a Developmental Therapist for the State of Illinois providing in-home therapy to children with developmental delays. Prior to that, I taught preschool, 1st and 2nd grades. I have experience with both Reggio Emilio and Howard Gardner's individualized teaching philosophies. During Covid I returned to my passion of teaching working for 2 families. During the '20-'21 schoolyear I assisted a 1st grader with remote learning and in '21-'22 I homeschooled K and 1st grade siblings, creating individualized curriculum aligned to state standards. I am confident that my expertise in applying alternative learning strategies will result in a fun and educational learning experience.

Rachel is absolutely wonderful. She helped my four year old during covid when she couldn't attend preschool. I wanted some form of teacher environment for her and Rachel taught her so much. You won't be disappointed and your kids will learn so much from her. Thanks Rachel, we adore you!
