About Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachel. I am currently looking for a job to help me pay for nursing school! Because I love kids and am an experienced child caretaker, I decided to join Care. com. I have been babysitting ever since I was in seventh grade. I am now in my senior year of college. The children I have cared for have varied in age from 4 to 12 years old. I also nannied for a family with two girls ages 7 and 9 for a little under a year. I always make sure the kids under my care have a safe and enjoyable time! In addition, I encourage them to go outside or play a game with me instead of watching TV, for example. I have done many fun things with the kids I have cared for including baking, swimming, and going to parks. I also drove the children I nannied to their after school activities and helped them with their schoolwork. I am hoping to not only look after children, but to also develop relationships with kids and their families. I love meeting new people and cannot wait to meet you!
