About Rachel

My personality is warm, funny, and animated. I'm looking for a job that leaves me with a feeling of fulfillment, satisfaction that I provided something good for someone else at the end of the day. I started working with kids when I was a teenager caring for families in my neighborhood. In my younger twenties I became a full time nanny to a 3-month-old baby boy. I cared for him until after his third birthday when his father's job required them to relocate. Shortly after I had my first daughter and three years later my second. I've cared for many families' children in my home throughout the years and my girls are now a senior and freshman in High School. In my spare time, I like to grow fresh herbs and prepare new dishes for my family to try. I also enjoy sewing- both quilting and dress making. As my girls have gotten older I really cherish our beach days and movie nights!
