About Rachel

I am a stay-at-home mom currently looking for full or part-time employment as a nanny. Before becoming a mother, I worked formally as a nanny of four (ages 4-10) for one year and spent my teenage years babysitting for many families. I have an awesome 2-year-old boy who keeps me on my toes. We love to read books, play at the park, go to the library, and draw. Ideally, I would like to tend children from my own home and work for a family that has only 1-2 children so that we may all fit safely into a five-seater car and have the ability to get out of the house often, do day to day chores like shopping, and do fun activities like going to the Children's Museum and Zoo. Besides keeping myself busy being a mom, I also have a bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry, have previously worked at an aquarium (so I love animals), and do cake decorating for fun and as a business.
