Hi! My name is Rachel. I have been working with children of all ages for 15+ years now. I'm a general and special education teacher for ages birth through 6th grade. I'm also a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA -*see below for explanation). I have worked for private and public school districts. I'm open to any endeavor at the moment and prices are negotiable based on the service. I'm available for babysitting, nannying, tutoring, behavioral support/plans, potty training, etc. I also have completed a majority of my nursing degree (RN), this has taught me the proper sanitation precautions to take while working with children to ensure everyone's health and safety. *BCBA - which is typically my main profession. Applied behavior analysis is based on the science of human behavior and changing the environment to produce positive changes or increase positive behaviors. A BCBA believes in praising good behaviors and trying to eliminate the use any negative interactions or punishment.

Rachel has been helping us home school our children for the past six months. We have one child (1st grade) with special needs and one child (5th grade) who is advanced. She is remarkable with both of them. She keeps them both on task, she has fun with them, and she stays very organized under these strange "home school" circumstances. She is particularly skilled with our 1st grader who struggles with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. Her patience is remarkable. She has been an absolute godsend and we are so grateful for her.
