About Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachel and I have focused my career on working with children. I have a Bachelor's and Master's of Social Work and found my passion for early childhood development when I worked as a home visitor with children aged 0-3 years. I later worked as a writer for six years and developed early childhood education curriculum. In 2021, my world changed when I became a parent. For the past year, I have been doing the best job of all! I take my son with me as I work as a child caregiver. I love to incorporate all the research-based recommendations that I've learned over the years into my interactions with children. For example, I offer hands-on learning experiences, support children in recognizing and naming their emotions, and pay close attention to the child's specific interests so I can best support their learning.
