About Rachel

I'd describe my personality as Shy, Loving, fun. I like working with animals because I LOVE ANIMALS. I fell in love with pet care& I'm looking for a job that is flexible &can work around my home/family life but that I love. I started working with animals at 16 pet sitting. Then a job at a local kennel! I love all animals!! I've done very well with more aggressive or scared animals! Ended up besties by the end of their stay! One thing you should know about me is I am very determined. Challenges I will get past! I don't give up! My best example is working at the kennel! A very afraid handsome boy, it took 3+ hrs, But we got there! By the end he was my bestie, the wiggles& kisses made it all worth it! My skills include dealing with scared/aggressive pets. I've seen several afraid dogs in kennels & want to provide the same love and care without the scary boarding experience! I can bathe, clip nails, light matting removal, & I can administer medication! (Including insulin!)
