Hello! My name is Quinlan. I am a student at Tri-C, working to complete my Associate of Arts degree. I plan to transfer to a 4-year college, majoring in something that has to do with global social sciences. Following my college education, I wish to participate in the U. S. Peace Corps, working in the States and abroad, hopefully, able to incorporate the ideology of humanitarianism and the social sciences in the education of children. I love kids, so working with them in the future sounds like a dream come true! Seasonally, I work at Kringle's Inventionasium, a Holiday attraction in Cleveland. As an actor and tour guide there, I interact with children of all ages and personalities, working to engage them in educational and imaginative exercises. I am at the older end of about 30 cousins, so I have LOTS of babysitting experience for my family members, as well as for friends of family, friends of friends, and neighbors. I have cared for all ages, with experience in most aspects of babysitting and nannying jobs: driving, bedtime, changing diapers, helping with homework, etc. I would love to be of assistance to a family in need of a compassionate caregiver! Thank you!
Daniel G.

I am so pleased to write a recommendation for Quinlan. I have known her for more than 7 years, since I met her as a 7th grade student in the middle school where I taught Science. Even at that young age, she was hard working and forward thinking. She joined our Environmental Club and instantly took on a leadership role. Despite the many challenges she faced with growing a new program, she never wavered, eventually helping our Club win national environmental awards and helping to save schools in drought-ravaged areas of the world. Perhaps most impressive of all was Quinlan s fearless pioneering of our groundbreaking Music Project. Quin was one of 9 students that helped develop the program, raised more than $50,000, and then traveled to East Africa to work side by side with top scientists and African students and educators. Besides all of her environmental work in Africa, she also composed and recorded an original CD of music that combined western and traditional Maasai music. This is the first time this has ever been done, and Quin lead the project. If I were to list all of the impressive things I've seen from Quinlan in the course of the last 7 years, this letter would fill many pages. Instead, let me say that I could not possibly recommend her more highly than I do. She is courageous, facing every challenge that comes her way. Her responsibility and dependability allow me to assign her difficult tasks with full confidence that she will get the job done. She is talented, yet shows modesty even in the light of her successes.
