About Priya

Hello! I am a caring, detail-oriented pre-med student with a goal in gerontology seeking high-quality work experience! I have 5 years worth of experience assisting those from a number of cultures (American, Indian, Russian, French, Korean, Turkish, and Dominican). My job-related skills include domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning along with basic nursing functions (e. g. checking vital signs, medication administration, and patient comfort). I am also CPR certified and have vast knowledge in first aid. I was raised in a joint-household and culture that reveres the elderly; in India, caring for the elderly is not only an obligation, but a necessity for a righteous path of life ("dharma"). I therefore have deep respect and consideration for those who lived longer and know the world better than I. In addition, I am sure that I will be able to entertain my new friend with fun and creative activities or converse with them for hours on end while providing the best care! :)
