About Penelope

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, affectionate, and optimistic! I started working with kids when I was only 10 years old! I worked as a mother's helper for a few years before moving on to full time babysitting. I've also worked at church nurseries, as well as full time summer camps! My skills include Creativity-I am a theatre student and absolutely love using imagination to build fun worlds to play in with the kids-Problem Solving-working with kids is understanding that nothing goes according to plan, and adapting from there-and Communication- I thoroughly believe that communicating with the kids you are working with is the best way to build an effective relationship. Asking them how they are feeling always works better then assuming, and I try to utilize that as much as possible in my work.
