Pearl was under my employment from June 2013 through December 2013. She was responsible for my 2 boys; one infant and one toddler. She began while I was in my last trimester of my second pregnancy and continued through my maternity leave and return to work. Initially, she helped prepare for the new baby by setting up the nursery, precooking and freezing meals, running errands and so forth. While I was on leave, she took care of my 18 month toddler full time and my newborn part time. Once I returned to work she was responsible for both boys, meal preparation twice per week, laundry once per week and general daily cleanup. In addition to her 40 hour work-week, she provided a full house clean every other Friday while I took care of the boys. Pearl's strongest attributes are her patience, dependability and flexibility (not to mention her enchiladas). Pearl was very punctual, even in inclement weather. She is very patient with the boys and perpetually sought after activities to keep my high energy toddler focused and busy. In good weather, she initiated a routine to go the local park or zoo after breakfast. In bad weather, she took the boys regularly to the library for reading times and socialization with other toddlers. Pearl was also flexible, occasionally work late or overnight if I had to travel out of state. I am sad to see Pearl go and I know the boys will miss her. Thanks, Tammy K.
