I am a 17-year veteran fifth-grade teacher who was awarded Teacher of the Year from the Connecticut Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. My fifth-graders participate in the Connecticut Math League Elementary School championship. In addition, my students also participate in an annual Fifth-Grade Science Fair. I hosted a weekly Science Weatherkids program for elementary and middle school students for 20 years. This past school year I was awarded a grant from Foundations in Education for a school-based video program and studio. I am available to tutor upper elementary and middle school students in a comfortable, relaxed setting in a private room at a local Fairfield public library. I am certified in First Aid and CPR. I am also fully vaccinated and boosted.
