Paula cared for my parents for 7 months and would still be caring for them if they didn't need 24/7 care. My parents were moved into an assisted living community for around the clock care. Paula worked 40 hrs a week and helped me get my life back. I felt extremely confident that my parents were in a safe environment with Paula's presence. My mom with dementia and my dad on hospice with end stage COPD, Paula had her hands full each day. She was very patient, kind and understanding to my mom even when my mom was difficult. Her upbeat personality was refreshing to my mom and she adored Paula's companionship. Paula had many responsibilities including transportation, med reminders, changing catheters, cooking, cleaning, companionship and helping walk the dog and the list goes on. Her nursing background was a bonus. I would without a doubt hire Paula again and would be happy to speak to anyone interested in hiring her and elaborate on her skills and her level of care to my parents.
