About Paula

I am a public school special education teacher in Connecticut with over 30 years experience. I have a masters degree in special education and a sixth year degree in elementary education. The majority of my teaching experience has been in the field of early childhood special education working with students between the ages of 3 and 7. I'd describe my personality as patient, kind, and compassionate. I am available to provide support in the areas of academics, social skills, or behavior management strategies. I hold certifications in the areas of special education and general education, and am willing to work with children with and without special needs. I have had training and extensive use of Learning Without Tears early literacy program, World of Wonders early literacy program, and Sounds Sensible/SPIRES phonological awareness and instructional programs. I will provide all necessary materials.
