I'd describe my personality as outgoing, friendly, and humorous. I like caring for people with special needs because I was a special ed teacher for 20 years and I loved my job. I have an ability to use strategies, humor, music and connections to build a relationship with people of all ability levels. My main experience is with Autism, behavior management, and mobility assistance. I'm looking for a job that has a rewarding experience for clients and myself. Part-time work that fits into my schedule. I started caring for people with special needs when I had a second career as a teacher in 2001. I have experience with autism, behavior management and all ability levels. In my spare time, I like to play tennis, bike ride, play guitar and sing, dine out and read. One thing you should know about me is I have a great rapport with people and work to develop relationships. My skills include behavior management, community trips, mobility assistance, and assistive technology.
