About Patricia

Hi, I am a retired speech pathologist. I worked in the public setting for 39 years, working with special needs children from preschool through high school. While I was ready to retire from teaching, I wasn't ready to stop working. The thing I miss most is working with the kids. I am also a mother to three of my own children who are now grown. I recently worked as a nanny with an adorable 2-year-old. We spent our days going to the outdoor playground, an indoor playground, making trips to the library and attending music class. We also spent time visiting animals at the zoo and farm and feeding the ducks at the pond. On days we stayed inside we spent time reading, cooking and doing crafts. I look forward to sharing my love of these activities with your little one. I am comfortable with dogs, however, I am allergic to cats.
