About Patricia

In caring for children, I have made it a top priority to ensure the safety of all children under my supervision. I love engaging the children in age appropriate activities that encourage the child's interests as well as promote the development of their skills. In my experience I have cared for young children between the ages of 7 months all the way to 12 years and older. These past experiences include caring for children in a home setting as well as transporting them to sporting events and music lessons. Recently I have worked in Kentucky Children's Hospital through my nursing school experience that has further expanded my knowledge on how to better attend to a child's needs. Clear communication is key, so I have made a point to ensure that I understand the expectations of my employers as well as their children to establish a safe environment and to ensure a positive experience. I have recently graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
