I became a caregiver when I took my father in to live with me in 2009, he suffered from Alzheimer's disease. I have extensive experience in dealing with all aspects of dementia - feeding, bathing, dressing and compassionate companionship. I was trained by my husband who was a CNA. Although memory issues are my specialization, I can also provide assistance to any senior. I can offer medication management, engaging conversation, mental stimulation, singing, reading aloud, as well as transportation to shopping or doctor appts, or simply getting out of the house for a walk or drive. I have been where you are! In addition, professionally I am a trained behaviorist and can assist with persons who have autism. I am Covid vaccinated. I have worked for many years in the school system and have a clean background check, no criminal history, and a clean driving record. I am a married mom of two girls and have lived locally for over 25 years.
