About Parker

Hello! My name is Parker and I am an experienced childcare provider, having worked in early childhood development for about 5 years. I've always had a joy for working with children. I started working with kids when I was 13, babysitting for families in my neighborhood. I got my first job when I was 16 at the Boys and Girls Club, where I was an after school program counselor and during the summer, a camp counselor and pool aide. While in college, I worked as an assistant teacher in Early Childhood Development during the summers and upon completion of my degree, I was a full-time Infant Teacher. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, adventurous, and nurturing. I like working with kids because being that everything is new for them, I love the excitement of seeing them explore and learn new things In my spare time, I like to travel, cook, and try new activities! My skills include incorporating activities that improve cognitive, speech/language, physical/motor, and social skills.
