About Pamela

I obtained a degree in nursing in 2001, (finished my bachelor's last year) but started out my career working with children who have special needs as a caretaker. I have worked with children of all ages and children with different abilities, strengths, and social challenges. I was even a school nurse for a while, learning the different ages of children and all the trials and successes that come along at each grade level. I've also done my share of rocking the babies and playing with toddlers in the church nursery. I love hands-on activities, teaching children new things, and being engaged with kids while they are in my care. I love to listen to music and I've been known to sing aloud (although my pitch needs some work)! One of my favorite activities is exposing a child to the library and the wonder of books! I love to cook and would be happy to do meal prep or cooking for your family in addition to light housekeeping and laundry. I have my own car (very reliable) and am a non-smoker.
