UPDATE - I can't care for dogs right now although I may be able to resume at some point. I AM still available for cat and other small animal care! After 19 years teaching biology at a small college in PA, we moved back to OR, my home state. I was looking for a change and my lifelong love of animals - caring for my own and those of friends and neighbors - drew me to pursue pet care. I built a small residential cleaning business at the same time. I've been decreasing those hours to allow me to focus more on pet care. I'm an avid gardener, walker, hiker, runner and outdoor-enthusiast and love to work with animals! I am available for drop-in pet care. If your pet enjoys interacting with people, I'm happy to play with, groom, walk, etc. and if your pet prefers new people to leave them alone, I'm happy to give them space. I've found that I have some skill with shy animals and am now friends with some very shy creatures!
