About Pamela

Hello! I am a wife, mother, and trained teacher. I currently work as a special education classroom assistant but will begin teaching next year. I have worked in education and childcare for most of my life. I have been tutoring on and off for the last 10 years. I have worked for my school district for 15 years, 13 as highly trained assistant in both resource and inclusion settings working closely with all of the teachers. I have started and coordinated an after-school STEAM program for all learners but with a focus on those reluctant learners to become re-engaged. I love seeing children figure out what they want to know while helping them get the skills they need. I focus on set skills but with an interest based plan. I try to close as many gaps as possible.
