About Paloma

I'd describe my personality as patient, playful, and creative. I like working with kids because as much as we can teach them and help them grow they are also little teachers to us who constantly bring new and fun perspectives and ideas. I started working with kids as early as middle school. I babysat for family friends and my love for working with kids brought me to studying psychology at UCSC, where I had multiple internships working with various age groups. Such as a community organizer working with middle school children teaching them about education justice in SF, as well as a teacher for an outdoor nature program for kindergarteners-4th graders. In my spare time, I like to paint, go on nature walks or hikes, try new restaurants or cook new recipes and read.
