From watching my younger sister and cousins as well as various families in the neighborhood I grew up in to long term nannying positions in Chicago, I have spent time with kids both professionally and casually. I co-founded an urban farm and educational program in Chicago, IL, where we ran farm educational programs for children in different neighborhoods in the city. I believe that children are in touch with their genuine selves: immensely full of unencumbered energy, life, and passion! I find myself drawn to this child-like outlook on life.
