- My first experience in care was 5-6 years ago when I cat sat for my aunt and uncle. I loved to stay after doing the chores to sit with the cat and show her some love. - Within the same building (in JP) I met an older woman through my mother who needed help with understanding and using electronics. We did this for about two weeks my senior year of high school and it helped me learn skills in patients and teaching. - I also used to be a surf instructor! I loved teaching all the kids such a fun sport in the water. But keeping track of 15 kids on a crowded beach with two other counselors was not easy! - Recently I have been baby sitting two lovely little girls between the ages of 3-5 which has been so rewarding. They like reading Harry Potter so we read at least once every time I go. - I have been taking one of the girls to and from camp on some days and its fun to chat with her, I love sparking up conversations with little ones they have so much to say!
